Dear colleagues,

Please mark your calendars for the European Chinese Language Teaching Conference on 5 & 6 July 2017.

The past conferences in the University of Bath and the University of Nottingham have been successful with your strong support. This year’s theme is European Chinese Language Teaching from an International Perspective. Topics on CLT standards & curriculum, teaching pedagogy & classroom management, teaching resource development & application of new technology, as well as CLT for special purposes will be presented in keynote speech, panels and workshops.

We hope to have your participation in this conference, and we also welcome papers regarding the above-mentioned topics. You will have opportunities to get the papers published in the journal International Chinese Language Education by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press.

The conference is co-organized by the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban, the Confucius Institute at Oxford Brookes University, Macmillan Education and the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, and will take place in St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford.
